Ich glaube ja inzwischen, dass GOTT - so er denn existiert und sich überhaupt äußert - ausschließlich in Bildern und Geschehnissen spricht (und in geschriebenen Worten?). Aber das kann natürlich auch der Zeitgeist sein, der mich heimsucht.

Titel des fünfzehnten Marillion-Albums, das ein Doppelalbum sein wird und in zwei Teilen erscheint - "Happiness Is The Road, Vol. I, The Essence" (ein Konzeptalbum) und "Happiness Is The Road, Vol. II, The Hard Shoulder" (eine lose Sammlung von Songs).
Der Erscheinungstermin liegt im September.

We're just out of a meeting! Marillion Album 15 will be called "Happiness Is The Road". It will consist of 2 separate CDs (full details on www.marillion.com/preorder). Volume 1 is subtitled "Essence" and Volume 2 is subtitled "The Hard Shoulder". "Essence" (Volume 1) is evolving at the moment into a thematic journey, whilst Volume 2 is more a collection of discrete songs. Recording is still going brilliantly and the new songs we've written have 'knocked out' the few people we've played them to.

Irgendwie nett, wenn man von einer Band so lange begleitet wird (mögen sie ewig leben!). Das erste Album erschien, als ich gerade mal sechzehn Jahre alt war. Ich kann fast mein ganzes Leben an den verschiedenen Alben festmachen (Pupertät - erste Freundin - Abi - Bundeswehr - Hochzeit - Studium - Kreuzigung - Scheidung - Auferstehung...)
Ein weiteres Album von Robert Rich (den ich nach zwei Alben - allen Ernstes jetzt - für ein absolutes Genie halte). Nach dem sehr dunklen "Below Zero", das in unvergleichlicher Art und Weise die Kälte des Weltraums evoziert, nun "Bestiary" (klick the picture) - eine Ansammlung von urzeitlichen und mittelalterlichen, phantastischen und biologischen Kreaturen. Etwas schwieriger als "Below Zero", aber genauso lohnend.
Frei nach dem Motto: "wenn man weiß, was es sein soll, kann man es erkennen" (Aussage einer ehemaligen Freundin, damals allerdings in Bezug auf Ian Andersons "Divinities - Twelve Dances With God"/1995, bei dieser Gelegenheit: Grüße, Soulmate, Anima, wo immer du auch sein magst: wish you were here, sometimes).
